Gambeson Coat – Practical & Versatile
A knee-length, lightly padded coat with straight quilting. Thanks to its flat closures, it's perfectly suited as a padded underlayer beneath chainmail or a cuirass. The stand-up collar offers added protection for the neck against pressure points. The long sleeves allow for use with either a long-sleeved chainmail shirt or a short one combined with arm guards.
The sleeves are set inwards at the front, providing increased mobility. A practical companion for many fighter characters – whether knight, squire, mercenary, or foot soldier.
