Diese historisch inspirierte Sturmhaube ist mit einem festen Schirm sowie zwei aufklappbaren Wangenklappen ausgestattet, die optimalen Schutz und Flexibilität bieten. Die Klappen sind anatomisch geformt und verfügen über Durchbohrungen, um das Hören während des Tragens zu erleichtern.
Am Nacken ist der Helm mit einem ausgestellten Bereich versehen, der die Lücke zwischen Helm und Rüstung schließt und so einen durchgängigen Schutz gewährleistet. Damit ist diese Helmform ideal für LARP, Reenactment und Darstellung historischer Charaktere geeignet.

Dieses Helmmodell zeichnet sich durch eine hohe, spitz zulaufende Helmglocke mit Mittelgrat aus. Der lange Nackenschutz bietet zusätzlichen Schutz im Gefecht. Die Stirnpartie ist fest vernietet und verstärkt so mit einer zweiten Schicht Stahl die Stabilität.
Das Visier ist nach oben klappbar und ermöglicht dem Träger bessere Sicht und erleichtertes Atmen, z. B. in ruhigeren Situationen oder beim Marschieren.
Im Inneren ist der Helm mit einem Schaumstoff-Innenfutter ausgestattet, das mit Baumwolle überzogen ist. Ein stabiler Kinnriemen mit Schnalle sorgt für festen Sitz am Kopf.
Der Schaller war einer der am weitesten verbreiteten Helmtypen des Spätmittelalters und wurde häufig mit gotischen Rüstungen getragen. Auch nach seiner Blütezeit fand er noch bei Söldnern und Gesetzlosen Verwendung.
